The Future
What does the future hold for this site? Where do I go from here? Below are a few ideas I've had that would improve the sites design. As always, I'm willing to consider any ideas anyone else has. Let me know.
More pictures: This especially applies to the friends section. I have a scanner, there's a bunch more pictures scanned and available, and as I take more and more, I'll put them on the site.
More pages: This goes without saying. I'll be adding new pages as I think of new topics to cover.
Expansion: Existing topics, especially the friends sections, will receive more space.
Web hosting: Perhaps not what is exactly meant by the term, but I am willing to put anything on the site that you can produce. Crack open your copy of Front Page, and produce some pages. I'll happily link them into the existing site.
Downloads: Unlikely. Much as I'd love to add Eddie wav files, or whole galleries of pictures of Lindsay Aramou, it would take more time than I have.
The News page: I like it, and it serves as a diary for me. One of the reasons in removing the linear link systems was to allow people to skip this section, if they feel it's superfluous.
More links: Absolutely. I've barely updated this section since day one, so tell me what you want to see on here.
An FAQ: Entirely superfluous to requirements, but I'm considering putting it in. Perhaps more as an encyclopedia of me, rather than just the website. *STOP PRESS* Yep, it's in here.
A survey: I've re-added this bit, and he link can be found in the list below.
More random stuff: Yep. Those of you who know the link to the hidden page well know that it's one of the more regularly updated pages on the site, and that will continue. Those of you without the time to hunt down the link need only read my alternate version of the Bible.
More Wedge: Oh yes. Most definitely.
Parties: Lot's in the pipeline, and once I get Matt's scanner working, there'll be lot's of piccies posted on here. Gerry's New Year bash already holds legendary status after the 2000 effort. What does 2001 hold, and how many of the pics will I be able to put up without being shot?
More quotes: Frankly, I'll be raiding a bunch of sites to get more quotes, especially Terry Pratchett and Star Wars quotes.
That's it for now. I'm going to run and play with the fairies for the time being. Pathetically, nothing pleases me more than receiving e-mails about my site, so please take the time to send me a line or two. Makes me happy for the rest of the day.
